Typical European but with an oriental expression! These type of vases have a traditional, softly rounded hexagonal shape with bases that flare out at the bottom. Their long hexagonal necks end in a flared trumpet-shaped opening. In Dutch, these type of vase are called “knobbelvazen" because of the rounding above that looks like a 'garlic head'. The garlic heads have floral designs on them, while the slender neck is decorated with stripes. The body is decorated with scenes of oriental figures in a rocky garden.
Condition: good, with the usual wear to the rims.
