These plates are decorated in underglaze blue and the rim in underglaze brown ("jia mangkou"). In the central medallion we can see a Chinese court in session. A man is asking for grant a request to the one judge while sitting on his knees. The judge is while sitting behind his desk surrounded by four clerks or warriors. On the sides four groups of flowering plants are depicted; prunus, peony, lotus and chrysanthemum. Extensive flower decoration can also be found on the back of the plates. Around the large rim the plates are continuously decorated with a lady in an interior, two figures in a garden and one figure on a balustrade
